Meet Kaila Teague, Pitzer’s Student Senate President ☀️🍊 🌵
Join us this Sunday for our event with @sunriseclaremontcolleges! We will be envisioning environmental justice through our favorite art forms (whether it be drawing, painting, poetry, songs or dance)! Self-care and community care are deeply interconnected, and imagination is one of the most critical tools we have for transformation. As AOC says in her iconic video A Message From the Future, “We can be whatever we have the courage to see.” As we cultivate an energizing, inspiring, and joyful space for radical reimagining, we will discuss opportunities for further utilizing your art for activism! PS we are co-creating a sweet playlist for the event together- feel free to add any songs you’d like to hear @ the link in our bio 🎶
